It took two days to run all the events in Gallatin Speedway’s annual Gibson Guitar Big Sky Super Nationals, but by the time the last checkered flag fell, a healthy mix of track regulars and visiting stars had made their marks as Super Nationals champions.

“Let’s get it done,” said street stock points leader Beau Brown before heading out on the track for the final points-earning feature race of the year. “I can’t wait.”
Brown began Friday night’s racing program a scant 17 points ahead of Casey Steffenson. If that wasn’t suspenseful enough, the tight chase for the title was made even more dramatic by the pair’s starting positions for the feature: Brown on the pole, and Steffenson on the outside of the first row. more
